Top 10 Things Engineering School Didn't Teach

I came across an interesting article regarding engineering which I'd like to share and it seems pretty much true in engineering life...hehe
Here goes...regarding the top 10 things engineering school didnt teach.

10. There are at least 10 types of capacitors. (Hmmphhh...doubt I knew tat earlier)

9. Theory tells you how a circuit works, not why it does not work. (Pretty much
true)

8. Not everything works according to the specs in the databook.(I agree)

7. Anything practical you learn will be obsolete before you use it. ( No comments!!)

6. Always try to fix the hardware with software.

5. Engineeringis like having an 8am class and a late afternoon lab everyday for the
rest of your life. (This is a fact!!)

4. Overtime pay? What overtime pay??!!?? (haha...not only engineers always wish for this!!)

3. Managers are not engineers ; rules the WORLD.

2. If you like junk food, caffeine and all-nighters - get into software!!
